You?re Invited to LTI?s Open House
All members and guests of ASM/ASNT are invited to attend an Open House at Laboratory Testing Inc?s (LTI) recently expanded facility on Thursday, August 21, 2008. The event will begin with a reception at 5:30 pm, followed by a tour of the facility at 6:00 pm. Food and beverages will be provided by LTI following the tour. Guests may return to production areas to witness testing, calibration or machining and to speak with our technical staff.
Laboratory Testing?s two-story, 66,000 square foot building is located at 2331 Topaz Drive, Hatfield, PA, just off of Unionville Pike in the Line Lexington Industrial Park. Directions are available on our website at www.labtesting.com/contactdirections.php.

About Laboratory Testing Inc.
Laboratory Testing Inc. is an independent laboratory known for consistently providing accurate, affordable and timely certified test and calibration results. The lab is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by PRI/Nadcap and A2LA. LTI inspects and tests materials, parts and products in all shapes and sizes made of metals, alloys and many plastics. We also determine the composition of metals, powdered metals, ores, ferroalloys, composites, ceramics, aerospace materials and nuclear materials. Our Machine Shop prepares individual and bulk specimens for testing and performs specialty services like low stress grinding and EDM. The Calibration Lab provides NIST-traceable dimensional, pressure, force, torque, mass and vacuum calibration services, as well as new instruments, replacement parts and repairs. Field calibration service is offered for surface plates, hardness testers, optical comparators, balances, hand tools and compression testing machines. For added ?One-Stop? convenience, Laboratory Testing also offers failure investigations and materials engineering services.
Laboratory Testing completed construction of a 12,000 sq. ft. building addition and 65-space parking lot this spring to support steady sales growth, a staff of over 100 employees, and plans to add new testing and calibration services. We purchased the original 45,000 sq. ft. building in 1999 and added a 2-story 9,000 sq. ft. addition before moving into the Hatfield facility in early 2000. This new addition is home to our Calibration Lab and doubles the size of the Machine Shop. The space formerly used by the Calibration Lab has been turned over to Nondestructive Testing, and a small section enlarges the Shipping/Receiving Department. This additional space makes room for new equipment and more storage area to more efficiently handle large materials and the growing number of orders.
